A 12-bit grayscale technology pioneered by IEI called GrayBoost® shows 4096 grayscale tones simultaneously through commercial dual-link graphics cards. Traditional grayscale topology produces grayscale images with expensive medical graphic cards whereas IEI's revolutionary GrayBoost® produces grayscale images through the display controller embedded in the monitor, thereby lowering the total cost of ownership. The innovative grayscale technology successfully maintains a 12-bit input to 12-bit output data flow to provide the most precise and smoothest images for radiologists to view and to diagnose. |

30-bit Color Display Technology- GrayEasy® |

Another breakthrough is the GrayEasy® deep color technology, which is designed to comply with future HDMI™ 1.3 specifications. The innovative GrayEasy® technology, which is integrated in IEI PACSmate™ monitors, drives color images through a built-in display controller instead of conventional software, enabling above 30-bit display capabilities without any color degradation. The PACSmate™ monitors are able to display 10-bit and 12-bit grayscale through the built-in color-to-grayscale converter when connecting to a HDMI™ 1.3 compatible graphic controller and run the deep-color imaging viewing software on Microsoft® Windows Vista™ operating system. |

The reliable USB 2.0 external GeniSPOT® 3-in-1 calibration system maintains the display consistency. The GeniSPOT® also equips the photo sensor to provide precise luminance and DICOM calibration for your periodical QC process. The built-in luxmeter dynamically detects the ambient light of the reading environment and optimizes the monitor luminance.
